Once a property is assigned to Cornerstone Capital Finance, it is entered into our system. It is then tracked through each phase, from pre-foreclosure to closing, and monitored according to established time parameters for each phase.

Cornerstone Capital Finance has divided the entire REO management and marketing process into statuses and the sub-category steps comprising each status. Identifying each segment required to efficiently move an asset through the management and marketing process for shorten cycle times. Each step of the process is defined by its function and performance criteria. There is a corresponding step report, which identifies the number of days each asset has been in that step, as well as the information required to efficiently move the property forward to the next step.

The "step reports" were designed to identify time-sensitive "delivery" dates keyed to each segment of the process. These critical deadlines are scrutinized daily to monitor the performance of the representative, the appraiser, the attorney, the closing company and Cornerstone Capital Finance personnel.
